Galaxy Soho Business Center, China

Galaxy SOHO Area High-Rise Development, Beijing

This academic urban design project is located in the Galaxy SOHO district, within Beijing’s emerging central business area characterized by contemporary landmarks and large-scale commercial developments. The project explores the integration of high-rise towers into a dense metropolitan context, focusing on modern architectural language, vertical density, and the relationship between skyscrapers and public space.

The design concept emphasizes fluid urban connections, mixed-use functions, and a skyline that reflects Beijing’s transition toward a global business metropolis. Special attention was given to massing strategies, pedestrian circulation, and the interaction between iconic architecture and the surrounding business-center fabric inspired by the Galaxy SOHO area.

My Role:

Architectural Designer (Academic Project)

I was responsible for the overall architectural concept, high-rise massing strategy, urban integration, and spatial organization. My work included site analysis, volumetric studies, architectural design development, and presentation materials, with a focus on contemporary skyscraper typologies within a rapidly developing business district.
